Terms of sale
These terms apply to orders placed on this website.
Who you’re buying from
Orders are supplied by Wilson Earthmoving Group (“Wilson Group”, “we”). Contact us on 021 081 85796 or sales@wilsonlandscapesupplies.co.nz.
Prices and payment
Prices are in New Zealand dollars and include GST. Materials and delivery are priced per cubic metre (m³), with delivery set by your distance from our yard. Rush delivery has a set fee. You pay the full amount by card when you order, through Stripe. Your order is confirmed when payment is received and we email you a confirmation.
Quantities
Materials are measured by volume as loaded. Natural materials settle and compact in transit, so the volume on delivery may look smaller than ordered. Colours and grading of natural products vary from photos and between batches.
Delivery
- We deliver Monday to Saturday in the window you choose. We’ll do our best to arrive in that window, but traffic, weather, breakdowns and site conditions can cause delays. If we’re going to be late, we’ll call.
- You are responsible for making sure the delivery site is safe and accessible for a heavy truck, and for telling us about any hazards, soft ground or restricted access.
- The driver will decide where it is safe to tip. We are not responsible for damage to driveways, kerbs, lawns, paving or underground services when delivering to the place you asked us to, unless the damage is caused by our negligence.
- If we can’t deliver because the site is inaccessible or unsafe, we may charge for the return trip and a redelivery.
- Risk in the materials passes to you on delivery. Ownership passes once you have paid in full.
Changes and cancellations
To change your delivery time or cancel, call us as soon as you can. Changes or cancellations made before the working day before delivery receive a full refund. After that, or once the truck is loaded, we may charge a cancellation fee to cover costs already incurred. Refunds go back to the card you paid with.
Your rights
Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986. If you are buying for business purposes, you agree the Consumer Guarantees Act does not apply, to the extent the law allows.
Problems with your order
If something isn’t right, tell us within 48 hours of delivery with photos, and we’ll put it right.
